St Peter's Basilica and the security line
St Peter's Basilica is not part of the Vatican Museums ticket. General Basilica entry and a paid timed reservation service are not the same thing. Security screening still applies. Check the Basilica's official website for current visit rules.
Dome, timed reservation and guided tour options
The Dome has its own products and conditions. An official Dome product may include a Basilica visit and a digital audio guide. Follow the entry time shown in your confirmation email. A guided tour is not mandatory for everyone unless the selected product specifically requires it.
