Step into old Adana
Büyük Saat, Ulu Mosque, Ramazanoğlu Mansion and the surrounding old streets are close together. This part of the city is best explored on foot.

Taşköprü (Stone Bridge)
Roman-era Taşköprü spans the Seyhan River and remains one of Adana’s defining landmarks. The pedestrian bridge gives you an easy view of the river, the old city and Sabancı Central Mosque in the same walk.
Büyük Saat and Grand Mosque
Büyük Saat and the nearby Grand Mosque form the historic heart of old Adana. The clock tower dates to 1882, while the mosque is one of the most important surviving monuments of the Ramazanoğlu period.
Sabancı Central Mosque
With six minarets rising beside the Seyhan, Sabancı Central Mosque is a major part of Adana’s skyline. Visit respectfully outside prayer times, then combine it with Merkez Park and Taşköprü on foot.
Adana Museum Complex
Set inside the converted Milli Mensucat textile factory, this museum complex is one of the best places to understand Adana and the wider Çukurova region. The archaeology and mosaic sections are particular highlights.
Varda Bridge
Near Karaisalı, Varda Bridge is a dramatic railway viaduct built between 1907 and 1912 for the Baghdad Railway. At 99 metres high, it is worth setting aside a separate half day from central Adana.
Seyhan Dam Lake
Seyhan Dam Lake shows a quieter side of the city after the historic centre. The waterfront around Adnan Menderes Boulevard and nearby viewpoints is especially pleasant toward sunset.

Adana Kebab

Bici Bici
Adana's ice-cold answer to the heatCubes of starch pudding are topped with shaved ice, powdered sugar and rose-scented syrup. It is a wonderfully refreshing street dessert, especially in the hottest months.
Stuffed Şırdan
Adana's bold late-night street-food iconA sheep's şırdan is filled with spiced rice, slowly cooked and served with plenty of cumin. Its appearance may challenge first-timers, but it is a true symbol of Adana's late-night food culture.
Halka Tatlı
Crisp outside, syrup-soaked insideRidged dough is fried into rings and dipped in syrup. Around the Great Clock, it is one of the most classic Adana sweets to eat straight from your hand while walking.

Do not navigate to the old Şakirpaşa Airport. Scheduled passenger flights now use Çukurova International Airport (COV), about 24 km from central Adana.
